UK Distribution for F.T.C
March 23, 2010We are very excited to announce that Rock Solid will now be the UK’s distributor of clothing & hardware for San Francisco’s infamous skate shop F.T.C. – For The City.
F.T.C started as a small skate shop in San Francisco in 1986, humbly began as a small collection of skate gear buried in the back of a Ski & tennis shop and over the past three decades has earned the reputation as one of the true epicentres of real skate culture.
By 1994 FTC opened the doors of it’s first shop in San Francisco’s historic Haight-Ashbury just as skateboarding was evolving beyond it’s surf – inspired roots and exploding into a new style of city street skating. FTC was there for the ride attracting and nurturing the talented, locals, outsiders, misfits, and artists that put legendary spots like the Emarcadero aka EMB and Hubba Hide out on the map.
Over the years, FTC has grown beyond the confines of it’s original shop and has evolved into a brand known for its authentic grass roots innovation in apparel, design, video, art and music. The FTC family grows larger but the original vision remains – quality clothing and authentic products.
FTC now has skate shops in Tokyo & Sacramento.
